A team that has done SEO since 2009
South Carolina SEO Company has one job: helping the people who would hire a South Carolina business find it on Google. It is a brand of its own, with its own site, plans and reports, set up so an owner in Florence or Fort Mill can see what a plan costs and what it delivers before talking to anyone.
The team behind the brand brings its whole record to your plan. Across all of its work, that record reads:
- More than 15,000 clients served
- More than 28,500 websites promoted
- More than 1,500 brands worked with
- 94% client retention
- A client rating of 4.9 out of 5
That experience goes into South Carolina searches: the towns people type after "roofer" or "dentist", the summer peak on the coast, the plants along I-85 and the pull of Charlotte on York County. A plan for a Beaufort shop and a plan for a Spartanburg supplier start from different places, and we build them that way.
Our case studies cover four South Carolina campaigns: home services and vacation rentals in Charleston, a Columbia law firm and a Greenville dental practice. Each gives the plan, duration, search scope and reported results.
How a plan runs, step by step
There are five plans: Corner Shop at $65 a month, Market Town at $125, County Seat at $235, Tri-County at $325 (our best value) and Whole State at $575. Each one includes Google Business Profile work, citation building and cleanup, and review requests. The steps below are the same on all five.
1. Intake
It starts with the free SEO evaluation or the order form. You send your website, the services you sell and the towns you want customers from. A person on the team looks at your site, your Business Profile and the businesses that rank above you, then replies by email within one business day with what is holding you back and which plan fits, if any does.
When you choose a plan, we email you a payment link by hand. Nothing is charged before you pay it. If you would rather talk first, request a call for any weekday between 9:00 and 18:00 Eastern.
2. The keyword map
The keyword map pairs each service you sell with each town you want to be found in, and assigns every pair the page on your site that should rank for it. Three services in two towns make six targets. Corner Shop covers 5 keywords, Market Town 10, County Seat 20, Tri-County 40 and Whole State 100.
Research gets deeper as plans grow. The first two plans use standard keyword research. From County Seat up, the research is in-depth and adds a content gap check, which finds searches your competitors have pages for and you don't. Tri-County adds a study of what the businesses above you are doing, and Whole State adds a check for toxic links already pointing at your site. The map changes as your business does: drop a service you've stopped offering, add a town you've started driving to.
3. The first month
The first weeks go to the basics that links build on:
- Your Google Business Profile, checked field by field: categories, services, service areas, photos and hours, matched to what people in your towns search.
- Your citations: wrong names, addresses and details corrected across the directories, and new listings added where you're missing.
- A review routine: a simple way to ask every customer for a Google review.
- From County Seat up, an on-page audit of your site and the fixes it calls for.
Then the links go out in the numbers your plan lists, within its turnaround: 8-10 days on Corner Shop, 10-12 on Market Town, 12-14 on County Seat, 14-16 on Tri-County and 16-18 on Whole State. County Seat and above add premium indexing, which helps Google find the new links sooner. Tri-County covers two websites and Whole State four; the other plans cover one.
4. The monthly report
Each month closes with a report by email. Its core is a list of the links placed that month, one row per link. A row holds three things: the live URL where the link sits, the page it points to, and the anchor text, meaning the clickable words. For a guest post or a Web 2.0 page, the target is a page on your site. For an amplification link, the target is one of those guest posts or Web 2.0 pages. Anyone you trust can open a URL and check the row against it.
After the links, the report covers the profile, listing and review tasks done that month, and where each target search ranks now compared with the month before.
How we choose link sites
Your plan uses three kinds of links, and each one is chosen in its own way.
Guest posts are articles placed through outreach on websites we don't own. Each site is run by someone else, who agreed to publish the article, and the article links to a page on yours. We look for sites with a Domain Authority (DA, a third-party score of a site's link strength) of 20 or more.
Web 2.0 pages are pages we publish for you on large publishing platforms rated DA 50 or more. Each one points to your site.
Amplification links are second-tier links. They point at your guest posts and Web 2.0 pages, never at your own site. Their job is to give those placements more weight and help Google index them, so the links that do reach you count for more.
The numbers rise with the plan, from 5 guest posts, 5 Web 2.0 pages and 1,500 amplification links on Corner Shop to 50, 50 and 20,000 on Whole State. Each of those links, amplification links included, gets its own row in your report.
What we refuse to do
- Guarantee rankings. Google decides positions, so we don't promise a "#1" spot, a page-one date or a number of leads. Results usually build over months and depend on who you compete with and where your site starts.
- Write or buy fake reviews, or practice review gating, which means asking only your happy customers. Google's review policies rule out all of these, and rewards for reviews too. We help you ask every customer, with nothing offered in return.
- Lock you into a contract. There is no setup fee and no minimum term.
- Hide a link. If we placed it, it is in your report with its live URL.
Who owns what
Everything we work on stays in your name. Your domain, your website and your Google Business Profile belong to you before, during and after a plan, and so do the reviews on that profile. The directory listings we build or correct carry your business name and details. For the profile we ask for manager access, never ownership, so you can remove us whenever you like.
The posts and pages we write for you are yours once the month they belong to is paid. The reports we send stay in your inbox. When a plan ends, there is nothing to hand back.
How to cancel
Monthly plans run month to month, and there is nothing to sign. To stop, email support@southcarolinaseo.company before your next billing date. The month you have already paid for is completed and reported, and nothing renews after it. There is no cancellation fee.
If you would rather not subscribe at all, every plan also comes as one month only (no subscription): $75 for Corner Shop, $140 for Market Town, $260 for County Seat, $380 for Tri-County and $620 for Whole State. You pay once, we deliver one round of the plan's listed work, and nothing renews, so there is nothing to cancel.
Where to go next
We serve businesses across South Carolina. Towns with enough search demand have a page of their own, such as Charleston, Columbia and Greenville, and the rest are listed on areas we serve. If customers find you on the map, start with local SEO. If the site itself needs replacing, see web design in South Carolina, and for content and reputation work alongside SEO, see digital marketing.
Questions about the team
Something else on your mind? Ask us on a call.
Where does the team work from?
The team works remotely, by email and scheduled calls, and has no office in South Carolina. Write to support@southcarolinaseo.company any time, or request a call for a weekday slot between 9:00 and 18:00 Eastern. We confirm the time by email, then call your phone or send a video link. Search work happens online, and each monthly report lets you check every task from wherever you are.
Will you also work with my competitors?
We may, yes. The team takes on more than one business in the same town or trade and doesn't reserve a market for any one client. What stays private is yours: your data, keyword lists, reports and plans are never shown to another client or used for one. Your plan is built from your own site, services and towns.
Who will handle my account?
The South Carolina SEO Company team, from the first email to the last report. A person on the team reads every message sent to support@southcarolinaseo.company and replies Monday to Friday; anything that arrives after hours or on a weekend is answered the next business day. Each task completed for you appears in your monthly report.
How long before I see results?
Expect months rather than weeks. Fixes to your Business Profile and listings can lift lighter searches early, and smaller towns with few competitors tend to move first. Contested searches in busy markets such as Charleston, Greenville or Myrtle Beach usually take longer. The pace depends on the businesses above you and where your site starts, so we don't name a date. The free evaluation shows what is holding your site back now.
What do you need from me to start?
Your website, the services you sell and the towns you want customers from. Once a plan is paid, we ask for manager access to your Google Business Profile and, if your plan includes on-page fixes, a way to edit your site or the name of the person who can. Your plan's turnaround counts from the day we have that access. Everything else, from the keyword map to the first links, comes from our side.
