Why start SEO months before the busy season?
Search interest for seasonal services climbs before the season itself, and new pages and links take time to be found and trusted. If the work starts the month the phones should ring, the pages are still settling in when the season is half over. Starting during the quiet months gives the profile, pages and links time to settle.
Which lead time should I pick?
Three months suits a business that already ranks somewhere and needs a push. Four is a middle path. Six fits a new site, a crowded market such as the Charleston or Myrtle Beach area, or a business with few reviews. If you are unsure, choose the longer option: arriving early costs little, arriving late costs a season.
Does the planner predict my rankings?
No. It lays out a calendar from the lead time you choose. Real timing depends on your competitors, your reviews, your site and how much work goes in each month, and no one can promise when a ranking moves.
